Papernation

Disappointment all round as Bristol (home of Papernation) misses out on the new 2010 European Green Capital Award, which went to Stockholm.  I guess it’s not such a surprise, given the shortlist included Oslo, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Freiburg and Copenhagen, all of which have a very long history of eco-awareness. You can physically taste how clean the air is in Stockholm, so they’re justified winners! 

I think it’s great though that Bristol got onto the shortlist at all, when faced with such pedigree competition.  2011′s winner of the award was also chosen yesterday – Hamburg.  But here’s to Bristol going all out to win in 2012!
